ANDRESS HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION LOGO DESIGN
The banner shown above was designed by Roger Hootman '78. I know our high school logo has gone thru a few variations over the years, and there is no real logo, or design that is consistent over the years. Sports logos for the school's various team uniforms have varied each year, and between the different team sports.
For example, you probably have seen this logo:

I understand many alumni have no problems with it, other than we are not bald eagles, we are golden eagles.
In late 2007, Roger brought up to our team the fact that we have been the Andress High Golden Eagles. From the perspective of bird type, a Golden Eagle is much different than a Bald Eagle.
We agreed on the design of the Alumni Association logo as seen above as our banner, and also serves as the letterhead logo on our stationary. We have also followed the design into high quality pins (which are available for sale, or donations by alumni, or given to donors for their volunteer help). We hope your appreciate and support our design choice.
We also have artwork whereby the "Alumni Association" text is replaced with your class year as "Class of 1978". Please let us know if you need a jpg file of your class year for your classes' use.
