| Classmates.com website | www.classmates.com A few pointers: To receive the full value of this website, you need to become a gold member. However, you can access anyone's profile, whether they are a gold member or not, and post a note, or message to the alumni's profile. Classmates.com does not appreciate you directing alumni away from their site, so you need to be creative with your comment posting to an alumni's profile. Here is an example of what you can and should post: "Hey XXXX: Great to connect with you. Andress High School has an alumni association and it's growing quickly. Please take a moment to visit one of the two websites - a h s a a h y p h e n e a g l e s d o t c o m remove the spaces and add the dot and dash and you'll be able to get to the site, or do a search on the net for andress1978 or andress alumni association. Once you get there, you'll be able to join for free, and also learn what is going on with several of the classes. Looking forward for us to connect, too." Feel free to copy and paste the message, into each classmate profile. Several classes who have reunion committee teams, are using this simple (yet tedious) technique to draw classmates to where the "official information" is located. |
