| PRESS RELEASES & STATUS UPDATES: Posted 10/19/2009 at Classmates.com NEED CLASS REPRESENTATIVES During the course of 2 years, we have identified several "Class Representatives", alumni in various class years, whom we can approach to clarify facts and circumstances of their class.
We are missing class representatives, or ambassadors, for a number of classes. As we move forward in planning the 50th, it will be very helpful for the committee to identify class reps for each class.
All that is required is for you to act as a conduit for communications to your classmates, to assist Rebecca Colon and her outreach team, and to help us identify if your class plans to have a class reunion during 2011 (for example July 22 and 24 - the day before and after the big celebration).
We need you to step forward now, as we will include your name on the committee. If you do not know if your class will have a reunion, don't worry, that may come to fruition a few weeks or months before 7/23/11.

Posted 10/16/2009 at Classmates.com CLARIFICATION During the last two posts, I've had a few folks wonder if their class was having their 50th reunion. I just received the reminder I posted earlier, and now I see the source of the confusion! My momma said I aged her, yet, I though I grew out of that one for my friends! LOL
It happens to be, I'm a member of the class of 1978. I am also the president of the Andress Alumni Association. We also have a large, passionate and effective committee from many classes who are planning the high school's 50th birthday celebration for July 23, 2011.
My 50th is certainly not until 2028!
All classes are invited.
Some classes are planning to have their X year reunion (whether it is a normal reunion year, or if it's in mid stride). We are learning more each day on which classes plan to have events on the Friday before or Sunday after and we'll share the info with you as we obtain it.
Stay tuned! Posted 10/16/2009 on Classmates.com UPDATE The committee has been created and in high gear! This is the 50th ann of the school (opened 1961), and the 7/23/11 celebration is open to all alumni, students & parents.
Currently 350 guests are planning to attend (from various websites). We are expecting over 1,200 folks to attend. Several class are planning to have class reunion events the Friday and Sunday (July 22 & 24).
In production is a 60 min movie of Andress High's history (DVD). We are in the process of gathering content from yearbooks, photos & memorabilia.
Please send digitized content or the real thing to (scanned photos, movies) the assoc at: AHSAA-Eagles 7 Lobelia Lane Sandia Park, NM 87047; or harryasmussen - yahoo . For all items, include a post it describing who are in the picture, and date/year.
Also, please send me the year you graduated from Andress, along with a quote mentioning your most impressionable memory of Andress.
